Illuminated advertising from a single mould. The ORACAL® 8870 Blockout Film is a cast opaque film for special applications with backlighting, where light is to be partially prevented from showing through. At the same time, the silky-gloss surface structure prevents unwanted reflections. Opaque blockout films can be used to decorate backlit glass surfaces and translucent stretch fabrics and transform them into high-quality illuminated advertising systems. The 0.1 mm thick film with easily measurable shrinkage has an almost unlimited shelf life when used indoors and can be cleaned with standard cleaning agents. Due to their weather and UV resistance, temperature-resistant (-40°C to 90°C) films with a shelf life of 10 years are also suitable for outdoor use and are available in black/white or white/black, depending on the location. To prevent stretching, wet bonding should take place at a temperature of at least 8°C.
